Privacy policy
1. Who we are
Partners International Group (“Partners IG”, “we”, “us”) is a licensed property broker and motor carrier. Our operating authority details are available on request. Questions about this policy can go to info@partnersig.com.
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to quote, move and invoice freight.
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, company, email address, telephone number.
- Shipment details: origin, destination, equipment, dates, weight, commodity and any special handling instructions.
- Carrier information: operating authority, insurance certificates, W-9, banking or factoring details for payment.
- Anything else you choose to put in a message, form or attachment.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, retained for security and troubleshooting.
- This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Why we use it
- To price a lane and respond to your enquiry.
- To arrange, dispatch, track and document transportation.
- To verify carrier authority, safety rating and insurance.
- To invoice, pay and keep the records the law requires us to keep.
- To handle claims, disputes and audits.
- To protect the site and our systems against misuse.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not add enquiries to a marketing list without being asked to.
4. Who we share it with
Freight cannot move without some information being passed on. We share only what a party needs to do its job:
- Carriers and drivers — pickup and delivery details, contacts at the facility, handling instructions.
- Shippers, consignees and their agents — status, position and proof of delivery.
- Customs brokers — documentation required for a cross-border move.
- Service providers — transportation management, accounting, email and hosting suppliers acting on our instructions.
- Insurers and legal advisers — where a claim or dispute requires it.
- Regulators and law enforcement — where we are legally required to.
5. How long we keep it
Transportation records are retained for the periods required by federal regulation, including the record-keeping obligations applicable to brokers and motor carriers, and for as long as needed to handle claims and audits. Enquiries that do not become shipments are kept for two years and then deleted.
6. Security
Access to shipment and carrier records is restricted to staff who need it. Data in transit is encrypted. No system is perfect; if a breach affects your information we will notify you as required by applicable law.
7. Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to a particular use. Write to info@partnersig.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. We may need to verify who you are first.
Some information cannot be deleted on request — transportation and financial records we are required to retain are the main example.
8. Children
This site is a business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
9. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects how we handle information you have already given us, tell you directly.
